Small Groups

Small groups usually consist of 6-12 people from church, or those who want to know more about Christianity, who meet in church members' homes weekly to share food, pray, discuss the bible and develop deep friendships.
We have a number of small groups located in and around the area. Here is a flavour of our different groups -
Walk and talk
A group of men get together about once a month on a Saturday for a walk and chance to chat.
The walk frequently involves a stop-over for a cup of coffee
Meet @ Morrisons

Set up as joint project with Morrisons and a local GP practice, we meet most Mondays at 1.30pm in the cafe area.
This is a friendship group for anyone and you are welcome to join us for a cup of tea, games, craft and a chat.
Women's meditation group

This ladies group meets on Tuesday afternoons in West Bridgford - usually in a home but does also meet in local cafes in the area.
The group meets at 2pm for meditation on the Psalms.
Burton Manderfield

Burton Manderfield is a retirement housing complex built in 1976 and based in the Meadows in Nottingham.
After getting to know a number of the residents in the complex, we now run a group on Monday afternoons from 2.00pm looking at what the bible says.
Oasis
Oasis meet for Christian meditation one week and alternate weeks for bible study.
The aim is to help develop our prayer life, and to study the bible to encourage one another as we live out what it means to be a Christian.
The group meets on Wednesday morning at 10.30am.
Place 2 be

Place 2 Be is a group of families that offer a place to belong. There are many nationalities in this vibrant group.
Ladies in the group meet on Thursday afternoons (term time only) from 1 to 3pm. We also have various social and family events during the year.
Re:create

Re:create meet on Wednesdays at 8pm in someone's home or a local pub. We also enjoy sharing life, going on walks, cycle rides, and boat trips!
We share and pray together and want God to recreate us to be the people he has always meant us to be.
