A Warm Hello
The following information is specifically for those planning a visit, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday morning.
Where and When
We meet at The Julien Cahn Pavilion in West Park on Loughborough (overlooking a cricket pitch) (map here) for our Sunday Service starting at about 10.30am.
We have a large car park next to the pavilion but be careful if you have a very tall vehicle (such as a van with a roof rack on top) as there is a height barrier across the driveway.
The entrance is around the "front" of the building which overlooks the cricket pitch. There are steps and a ramp up to the main doors.
The front of the building is all glass so you can stop and check us out before coming in and saying hello to the welcome team on the door.
Accessibility:
If you struggle to walk there are a number of the disabled access parking spaces which are closer to the building.
The hall is wheelchair accessible and the toilets including an accessible toilet suite.
If you struggle to hear, let us know beforehand, so we can work out the best way to help you.
We show song words on screen with large letters. If you are struggling to see them, let us know and we will work out how we can help you.
Our Sunday Services
The service begins at about 10.30am with a welcome and notices followed by a time of sung worship, led by our band. This lasts through to about 11am.
After that we take time to pray and listen to each other. This can take some time if there is a particular issue we want to pray through or if lots of people have something to share about what God has been saying to them. We try and use a hand-held microphone to make it easier for people to hear what is being said from the congregation.
We usually have a prepared talk and conclude with some final sung worship.
Once a month (the third Sunday of the month), we also share communion together.
And sometimes we go away together on a trip - so check the website for details.
Refreshments
After the formal part of the service is finished, we serve tea and coffee and chat with each other. There is also an opportunity to pray for one another
Breakfasts
On the first Sunday of the month we do things differently starting with breakfast (something hot as well as bread and cheese and fruit). This is ready from about 10:15am
We spend time around the tables talking and have a shorter more informal service from about 11am.

What about my children?
At the moment we don't have children taking part on Sunday mornings, but we always have something prepared for visiting children and youth if they want to take time away from their parents.
Getting Connected
Small Groups
While Sundays are a great way to meet new people, it is often in smaller gatherings that you can really get to know someone. Being part of one of our small groups allows you to make new friends, share together and support each other. We have a variety of groups that meet throughout the week, some afternoons and some evenings. Check out Small Groups and see if there’s one that you could join, or we can put you in touch with a small group leader who will be more than happy to invite you along to their group.
Community involvement
As well as church groups, we are also involved in the community particularly through our Wellbeing lounge "Renew 37." Have a look at Community involvement for more information.
